AI Software Engineer – Full Stack & Data Engineering

Role overview

Key responsibilities

• Develop responsive web interfaces for project dashboards, portfolio views, project tracking, and management reporting.
• Build frontend components for project status, milestones, schedules, risks, issues, dependencies, resource allocation, and action items.
• Integrate frontend applications with backend APIs and AI services.
• Implement user-friendly interfaces for AI-generated summaries, recommendations, project health insights, and conversational project queries.
• Design and maintain data pipelines to ingest, validate, transform, and synchronize project management information.
• Process data from spreadsheets, project trackers, documents, APIs, and other approved enterprise sources.
• Develop database schemas and queries to support project reporting, analytics, and operational dashboards.
• Build data quality checks, duplicate detection, error handling, and data reconciliation mechanisms.
• Develop visualizations for project performance, schedule variance, resource utilization, risk trends, and portfolio-level reporting.
• Implement role-based views and access controls in coordination with the backend team.
• Support document upload, metadata extraction, search interfaces, and AI-assisted document discovery.
• Write unit and integration tests, troubleshoot defects, and optimize application performance.
• Participate in code reviews, technical documentation, and deployment activities.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and improve the platform's usability.

Required technical skills

• Strong programming skills in Python and/or JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Hands-on experience with a frontend framework such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Experience consuming REST APIs and integrating frontend applications with backend services.
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, responsive design, and modern UI development practices.
• Working knowledge of SQL databases, preferably PostgreSQL or MySQL.
• Experience with data processing, transformation, validation, and API-based data ingestion.
• Familiarity with Git, debugging, automated testing, and basic CI/CD workflows.
• Understanding of data visualization and dashboard design.
• Ability to work with JSON, structured data, and common business file formats such as Excel and CSV.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative engineering team.

Preferred qualifications

• Exposure to Generative AI applications, LLM APIs, AI-generated content, or conversational interfaces.
• Familiarity with Python data libraries such as Pandas and NumPy.
• Experience with charting libraries such as Recharts, Chart.js, or Apache ECharts.
• Exposure to ETL pipelines, background jobs, and data orchestration tools.
• Familiarity with document extraction, embeddings, or semantic search concepts.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or other cloud platforms.
• Experience building dashboards for enterprise applications, project management systems, or business intelligence platforms.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
